Dimitrios Lampriadis
About me
I am a junior Data Analyst and Geospatial Analyst interested in data analytics, big data handling, data visualizations, and the translation of raw data into handy and easy-to-read insights for making data-driven decisions. The means I use to convey my findings and ideas are; the development of maps, dashboards, graphs, reports, applications, infographics, and diagrams.
I obtained a Master’s degree in MaCT - Master in City and Technology at the IAAC & Polytechnic University of Catalunya (Geospatial Data Analyst / Urban Planner-Technologist) and a Bachelor&Master of Science degree at the Department of Architectural Engineering in the University of Patras (Architect-Engineer / Urban designer-planner).
My Master's degree provided me with a high technical and business understanding, and analytical thinking. I managed to link my strong background in urban planning, social behavior and storytelling with data-driven decisions and geospatial data analysis using various digital and programming tools. What motivated me to gain further knowledge in that sector is the multidisciplinary environment the program promotes, and the deep knowledge of data collection, data cleansing, ED Analysis, data analysis, and data visualization workflow. As well as the focus on; detail, innovation, problem-solving, creativity, and sustainable strategies, through the implementation of new technologies and analysis techniques, that are required now and in the future.
